It's a balmy, bright day in Key Biscayne and a fun time of year in Miami. It's when the tennis world touches down in the sunshine state for the Miami Open.
Growing up, I was a competitive junior tennis player and recruited to play college tennis. I spent my childhood on a tennis court, learning a skill and practicing, practicing, practicing.
Though I didn't realize it at the time, tennis has shaped so much of who I am and how I live my life. It taught me many things but mostly; it taught me about going after goals, working hard and never giving up. That's not to say you're going to win all time time but show up, step on the court and play with all your heart.
This past week has been incredibly special for me and LOUISE & ELEANOR. Tennis is dear to my heart and we are so proud to have the opportunity to collaborate with, Cliff Drysdale Tennis, to launch our first tennis bag, the DiAnna, tennis tote. What makes this week even more special has been getting to share it with and spend time with some of the people I love most. I'm from California and as we expand LOUISE & ELEANOR to the S. Florida market, I'll be back on my old stomping grounds where I began my professional career almost 10 years ago. I'm happy to have the opportunity to spend the next year in S. Florida, around friends that are close enough to call family. It's exciting to work toward and reach goals but what's most rewarding is having people whom you love, trust and deeply care for to share it with.
Here's to S. Florida, here's to chasing dreams, here's to true friends and the beautiful souls I'm lucky to call forever-people.
